Georgia Lions' Camp for the Blind 2007 Winter Programs

The camp is pleased to announce two off season programs available for our summer participants and families. It is our hope that this will provide an opportunity to share time with friends and staff, missed during the canceled 2007 summer programs. These programs are open to all age groups with family members optional for both weekends, based on space availability.

Fall Festival

This event will begin October 12, with check-in in Macon at Noon and Waycross at 5:00 pm. Campers and staff will enjoy activities designed to celebrate the fall season. Checkout will be between Noon and 1:00 pm for both Macon and Waycross on October 14.

Christmas Camp

Campers may begin to check-in on December 14 at Noon in Macon and 5:00 pm in Waycross. This time is designed to share the holiday season with special friends from the summer. Campers should plan to checkout at Noon on December 16 in both locations.

Registration

The application (required only for campers who turned in no paperwork for the 2007 summer program), may be printed from www.glcb.org and mailed to the camp.

Fees

Campers who waived the refund option for last summer need only contact the office to register for either or both the Fall Festival and Christmas Camp. In the event, the remaining funds will be deducted from the 2008 summer program.

The fee for both the Fall Festival and Christmas Camp is $50 and a $25 transportation fee for campers who will ride the camp van from Macon, and $25 for each additional family member, who attends with the camper. T-shirts are $5 each.

All health information and documentation completed for the 2007 summer will be applied to both weekends.
